365 Days Of Tables Turning

You learn how to navigate the madness and before you know it you’re happily living in the loudest chaos you’ve ever known.

Noise becomes the soundtrack of your commute. Crowds become your family. Left-over Chinese becomes your gourmet.

Days go by from a corner office on the upper floors and nights are spent on rooftops with a bottle of Pinot Noir and when you feel like it, some company.

The skyline that used to tease you in your twenties now smiles back at you.

You tell the newbies, it’s a toxic relationship. You try to warn them it’s the type where you get hurt but keep going back for more.

That, you tell them, is what true love is.
